The following artists have their own studio/space at Berea Center for the Arts:
Painter Robert Berger (watercolors), furniture maker Kim Stacy, weaver Janice Robinette, who also handpaints silk scarves
NEWS: Quilter and fiber artist Pat Jennings is back with an exhibition of 10 beautiful pieces, and Pat Banks is showing 10 of her large water color paintings.
First exhibition by nature photographer and author Barbara Wade of Berea.
Berea Center for the Arts is the newest gallery in "The Folk Arts and Crafts Capital of Kentucky". The gallery is located in the old movie theater between Old Town and College Square/Berea College Campus right next to the public library.
The gallery is unique in its own respect with small spaces for artists and a long hallway filled with original paintings and other pieces of art  by a large number of juried artists. In connection with the gallery there is a small giftshop with greeting cards and original Berea postcards. The old balcony has been turned into an exciting space for live music, poetry reading, lectures, workshops and more. This charming and rustic space can seat up to 50 people. This space may be rented for special events.
Our fine neighbors include Madison County Public Library, The Jewel Box, PHbeaD,  Robie & Robie Fine Books, City Hall, the Masonic Lodge, and three major churches.
We are excited to be a part of a new beginning for the old movie theater and we are pleased to showcase

Visit Berea Center for the Arts and experience tasteful work from professional artists, who have earned their skills from hard work, innovative thinking and amazing talent.
Occasionally, artists will demonstrate their skills here, and workshops, seminars and live performances will take place upstairs in the balcony.

Groups and tours are welcome at Berea Center for the Arts. Just give us a call for special appointment - also outside normal business hours.

Berea Center for the Arts is the only gallery and gift shop in Kentucky that carries The Baroness Collection. The Baroness Collection was created by  Baroness Regitze von Holck, who was born at a Danish castle on the island Funen (Fyn), not far away from where world famous author Hans Christian Andersen was born (in Odense). Several years ago Baroness Regitze moved to The USA, settled down in Fort Worth, Texas where she designed her many lines of the collection of pins and pendants, often accompanied by small poems or wise reminders of how to live a better life.  Especially her series of Angels and Friendship are very popular. The jewelry is very attractive and comparartively inexpensive.
